James Comey calls on 'patriots' to 'stand up and reject' Trump's behavior after Putin summit

Previous FBI Director James Comey on Monday joined the extensive rundown of government officials and open figures denouncing President Trump's comments at his news gathering with Russian President Vladimir Putin, tweeting that the president "would not back his own nation." 

"This was the day an American president remained on unfamiliar soil close to a lethal lying hooligan and would not back his own nation," Comey, who was terminated by Trump in May 2017, tweeted. "Nationalists need to stand up and reject the conduct of this president."
