The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has guaranteed that if reappointed in the current year's races, tertiary students will no longer need to give guarantors before getting to student loans. 
The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, said during the revealing of the 2020 pronouncement report of the NPP on Saturday, August 22 that students will just require to give their national Identity Card to get to the loans
